ABOUT
PIKAVO brings 30 years experience in the product development (hard and soft goods) in the outdoor recreation (climbing and ski) and military/rescue industries; formal and informal education in cabinetry and furniture making; 15 years experience in the pro-photography industry, involving designing, building, repairing everything from electronic equipment, including drones, time-lapse motion equipment, to underwater rigs, ultra large format film/wetplate cameras, lighting and remote battery electrical power systems.
PIKAVO looks forward to converting a van for you in its entirety, including insulation, paneling, suspension, electrical, solar, battery, water and auxiliary fuel systems, heating systems, or just a portion of the van build, including design work as a consultant. We have machining (metal and wood) and upholstery capabilities in-house.
PIKAVO believes in the 7777 rule for their full builds; 7 days of fuel, 7 days of water, 7 days of warm shelter, 7 days of food.
PIKAVO's earliest van upgrade was a Red 1977 VW bus turned into a camper in late 80’s.
